We spent this Saturday in Augusta at Midwinter’s Tale for a surprisingly warm and enjoyable first event of the year. We had a great time and it the first event we have been to in the great state of Georgia. There were armored, rapier, thrown weapons, and archery tournaments. There were also A&S competitions and a feast.
This weekend we were at Yule Toy Tournament near Table Rock. It was a great event that gathers toys for Country Santa, an Upstate S.C. charity for needy children. We had a great time and were so busy we were not able to take many pictures but we have 15 available for viewing.
We were at Jester’s tournament this weekend. It was a great event with over 100 people. The weather started off cold but turned out great it was well worth the three hour trip, we hope they have this event or a similar one next year. We have 17 photos from the event available.
We were at Bride of the Hawkwood Howl this weekend relaxing. We deciced not to sell anythingat this event (our inventory is low from War of the Wings) and set up a pavilion with a new prototype loom and just had fun.
Last weekend we were at War of the Wings VI (WoW). We have been to every WoW since the beginning and they just keep getting better. We have over 70 pictures of this years war.
We were at Upstate Steam 2011 last weekend. There were great classes, steampunk movies were shown, and we were able to meet some great people in amazing costumes. We did very well vending at this convention and the hotel staff was very enthusiastic to have us there. We have 31 pictures to show and we will be back for next year.
Psaltery Dreams is prepared to unleash its army of clanks next weekend at Upstate Steam.
War of the Wings is in a few weeks and we were at Southern War Practice this weekend getting ready for the fun!
We were at WOPP: Kingdom of Heaven this weekend . There were great armored, rapier, and archery competitions along with classes a variety of A&S contests, and a tabletop siege engine competition. We were busy at the event helping out and were unable to take many photos but we hope you enjoy those we managed to take.
We were at Just A Tourney last weekend for a great day-trip event full of armored and rapier combat. The weather was great with no rain and lower than average temperatures. This allowed all the fighters to enjoy themselves without the normal summertime worries. We have 12 photos from the event online.
