We went to the Kingdom of Meridies for the first time this weekend to attend Fools War. The theme of the event was The Princess Bride and most of the armored and rapier combat was based on scenes from the movie. There was also equestrian, archery, and as a first for us, coursing of the hounds.
We had a great time and plan to attend next year.
Yule Toy was a big success. As the song goes, The weather outside was frightful but the event was so delightful. We collected 600 toys and over $200.00 in cash for Country Santa. Those of you who missed this event missed one of the best feasts we have sat down at.
We were at Upstate Steam this weekend, it was a great convention fulled with all things steampunk and Victorian. There were classes, people in great outfits, lots of venders, and a great time was had by all. This is the thirdf year we have vended at this con and we plan on continuing doing so into the future.
