A Brief History of the Psaltery |
This is our standard hog-nosed plucked psaltery.
The following stains are available: golden oak, cherry,
walnut, pecan, red mahogany, red oak, colonial maple. These
instruments receive three or more coats of varnish and a protective
wax finish. The also come with three sheets of printed
music, a blank sheet for your own music, a tuning key, and a
plectrum. All instruments are shipped strung but detuned, along
with instructions on tuning and maintenance. (Stand not included)

a rosette. The following stains are available: golden
oak, cherry, walnut, pecan, red mahogany, red oak, colonial
maple. These instruments receive three or more coats of varnish

All instruments are shipped strung but detuned along with instructions

Lyre
Our Lyre is crafted from oak and has 10 strings. This instrument ranges from 1 octave above middle C to 3E it has a light metallic sound and comes with a display stand. The lyre s strung with #1(0.10 inch) steel wire guitar stings.

Box Drum
We are proud to introduce a new Music instrument the box drum. Box drum are made completely of wood with a set of wooden tongues. Our box drum is made with a red oak top and poplar body. The body of the box drum can be stained with a variety of colors. The drum measures 7 inches X 16 inches X 8" inches and is coated with at least 8 coats of hand rubbed finish.
